I’m Jacques. I turn complex problems into clear, useful experiences, and build the foundations that help teams do the same.
Today, I lead design systems at Standard Bank Group, supporting more than 1,800 platforms and approximately 200 designers and developers across Africa.
I also help founders and entrepreneurs turn their ideas into thoughtful, practical products, shaped around what their customers really need.
My workflow is AI-native, from exploring ideas and prototyping to building AI-ready design systems and working in code. I bring design and engineering closer together, with human judgement guiding the details.
Away from the canvas? Usually mixing music, watching football, gaming or doing something with cars.
